GAP Advantage

Most cars depreciate by thousands of dollars as soon as they are purchased. And if your vehicle is stolen, accidentally damaged beyond repair, or otherwise declared as a total loss, you are still liable to pay the difference, the "gap" between your insurer's settlement and your loan balance.

GAP Advantage waives the difference between your primary insurance carrier's settlement and the payoff of your loan, less delinquent payments, late charges, and refundable service warranty contracts and other insurance related charges.  Included in this difference is your insurance deductible, up to $1,000.  An additional credit provided is $1,000 toward the purchase of a replacement vehicle if you finance your replacement vehicle at Northwest Resource.

Deposit Insurance

Your funds at NRFCU are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), a division of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), plus an additional $250,000 by Excess Share Insurance, Inc, for a total of $500,000 in coverage. IRA accounts are insured separately up to $500,000.
